Yes I'm so offended. No I'm just pointing out how ridiculous you are sounding. Most work retail part time or actually take that job until they can find a real one. What is there to "hack"? drag the label with the bars across the scanner then Swipe a card and the little machine in front of you rings.

I don't go to casino, chief. The problem here is that your mind is unable to process the difference between disapproving of something vs. outlawing something. I don't advocate outlawing casinos or Walmart opening at 10 PM. I do advocate avoiding those places and expressing disapproval. It's kind of ironic in that some of you who claim to be quite Christian take this agnostic kind of position on anything involving business. It's almost as if morality has no place in the Holy Free Market. So long as there is demand for something and the capital to help satisfy that demand, we should not express any judgment about it. After all, if we do that, it must mean we think the state should step in and close it down. Sparkling logic.

Walmart could announce that they will open at 4pm on Thanksgiving day..the height of dinner and there will be thousands lined up at the doors (with some even breaking them down).

"STUFF"..the holy grail of the American CONSUMER.

Those who consider Thanksgiving a family holiday, not an all out shopping spree, will not be there.
The pro family folks will have their dinner and family conversations and dessert and visit with each other.

They won't be banging the doors down at 8pm on Thanksgiving.

You'll have to take your hatred of the poor working class elsewhere, Sparky. Right about now I'm suspecting it was the poke at middle managers and bean counters that probably hit a nerve. Where else is one able to spend hours roaming the internet at 1 PM on a weekday while everyone else is working for a living?

You wouldn't make it five days in a retail environment. Forget about managing a store, I'm talking about working a cash register.

Let Walmart and the two ole greedy bitties that inherited the pit of greed have a wake up call.. Huge point above, they pay and treat employee's against profit like crap. Garbage wages that are more pocket change then a wage. Retail and greed is a huge problem. Retail would prefer all charity re employment and should be publicly humiliated for greedy selfishness.

They've done more in the past year to drive this country's economy than Obama, I'd bet.

If you don't approve of it don't go but don't run around screaming and howling about how nobody else should go. Let em do what they want. This is still a free country.

What rule says Christians have to run around judging what everybody else does? I know the liberals think that is all they do but I don't live in their little box. Also I haven't been to church for the last five years or so since we moved. I doubt the good Lord cares as he's probably busy. I spent way too much time in church during my school days I think I'll give him a break for a while.

Walmart is the #1 employer in the US.

Like it or not that's where many Americans have their "career"..behind a register.

I work from home. I know I know it's rough but somebody's gotta do it. Yeah those cash registers are a beech. I used to service em ten years ago when you retail warriors couldn't figure out how to turn em on.
