...That Romney will win this election.

I know several family members who voted for Obama 4 years ago who are voting for Romney this time.

I honestly believe that people were excited about Hope and Change but have realized things didn't change for the better and now they're going to vote with their heads and not their hearts.

What's that great line recently about 'if you voted for Obama 4 years ago because you were excited...something, something, something'. Sorry can't remember but it's a great one.

If you are a college educated and aren't better off than you were four years ago, I really don't know what to tell you.

Yes, there's no doubt that the opinions of your family and friends are representative of the entire country's sentiments, and are a great indicator of who will win the Electoral College vote.

There are several that I work with that were all for Obama in '08, they scoff at the idea of him winning this time.

Id think that'd be greatly dependent on what state and area you live in.

I live in Tennessee, and from what you'd think, Romney would be sure to win. But if you talk to friends in a blue state, you'd think Obama will win.

And popular sentiments don't mean squat. Its the electoral college.

Thats just it. I find it hard to believe that many people who didnt vote for Obama in 2008, will vote for him this time. That is just illogical. However, there are plenty of people who voted for him in 2008, that wont vote for him again.

Judging from his lack of any bounce from the debates, I think plenty of people are just fed up with his bs.

There are a lot of republicans who voted against Obama in 2008, that just won't vote at all because they can't stomach Romney.

In a way, they are.

He's not the only person I've heard say the same thing. A LOT of people have become disenchanted with Obama after having voted for him four years ago. That's an undeniable fact. He can't run on the foggy platform of "hope and change" this time; he has a record to defend. The problem is, it's indefensible.
