I totally agree with the following...This way when the country collapses which is a certainty no one including the media can blame the GOP...oh...I forgot they'll blame bush

As a conservative Republican I am begging you to give President Obama and those that voted for him everything they want.

They want higher taxes on the rich and companies, give it to them.

They want higher capital gains taxes that will hurt their investments, give it to them.

They want a system that will make Medicare insolvent in 2024 and Social security insolvent soon after that, give it to them.

They want policies that will lead to constant double digit unemployment for minorities and young people, give it to them.

They want an educational system that entraps the poor in failing schools, give it to them.

They want higher energy prices, give it to them.

They want to spend trillions fighting global warming while China and India continue to tap oil and coal, give it to them.

Only when it's the GOP's fault, as has been for decades. When this changes, we'll blame those responsible with equal severity. We're just about being fair!

I agree with the OP. Let Obama and the Dems run the board, give em anything and everything they want. Raise taxes, keep spending, whatever. Either one of two things will happen..

Their policies will prove right, and America will soon grow into a prosperous, eco-friendly world leader.

Or we'll rush headlong into the fiscal cliff, which will turn into a dark abyss for awhile. Crash, recover, rebuild..start from scratch. I'd rather crash and burn, get it over with and start anew, then continue this limp toward mediocraty.

If Republicans did this, they would have to get up at every news conference, every debate, every time they spoke and say "we're doing exactly what the Democrats have asked for and nothing more." Would be interesting to see it play out, that's for sure.

I've said this in several posts too. It would be to the Republicans advantage to accept just about eveything that Obama and Reid propose. Give them all the taxes and regulation that can be legislated at every turn. Obama will then own it. If it turns out to be a success, then they can claim how much they cooperated in congress and how they have seen the light. If it fails, they can say "told ya so". Its a win-win for 2016

government won't go insolvent, it'll just create mild amounts of inflation as it creates more currency to meet those obligations.
