Correct. It's far more than an extra marital affair that is at stake, it is a national security issue. And as far as the military is concerned, when I as in the Army I had a C.O. kicked out of the Army when his wife called our Brigade commander and dropped the dime on him for screwing around on her. It is against Army regulations.

Apparently the affair started two months after he became D/CIA. He was a civilian. It was also determined that there was no security breach by either of then. The only breach was Broadwell's britches.

Then again, as things are unfolding, it appears that Broadwell may have known a bit more about Benghazi re the CIA holding Libyan prisoners at the compound and that may have been a reason for the attack - to release the prisoners.

I have to say that Broadwell must have been good - I mean reeeeeeal good - if she was able to get him to divulge classified info, or while Petreaus was snoozing she was snooping, or Petreaus' ego was way to big for his own good.
