I think we should remain part of the US as long as it is in our best interests to do so. In the mean time our government should do what it can to keep us as autonomous as possible and maintain a balanced budget.
This was tried before and the south ran away with its tail between its legs... There is not one state who is free to make the decision to leave. Not going to happen...
