Forgive me for not having much sympathy. While a lot of us were fighting it, the US Catholic Bishops were pushing for universal health care. They have been pushing it for years. The Catholic Health Association? (can't remember the name exactly) even helped write Obamacare. The only part they don't like is the birth control part, otherwise they think it's peachy keen. While I agree that we needed reform in areas like pre-exisiting conditions and moving care from state to state, we didn't need a total federal government takeover. I for one will not forget that a large part of the blame belongs to them.
The bishops may have sold Obama the rope to hang them with, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be sympathetic.

The Muslims and Amish are not exempt either. We might not be hearing much from them because ....
1. Muslims and Amish don't run many hospitals, health clinics, charities, colleges or universities in America (so far as I know).
2. While they tend to oppose abortion and contraception, they might not have a developed theology of cooperation with intrinsic evil. For instance, the Catholic Church believes that if abortion is intrinsically evil, so also is paying for an abortion even if you don't directly perform the abortion. I'm not sure the Muslims and the Amish have the same scruples.
You don't understand his stance. The "Catholic guy" is losing his soul to obey Obama and give out BC, sterilizations and the morning after pill. He won't jeopardize that for anyone. Obama may think he is the savior but most people do not. God is above him.

How could it be over for it? You do know the Catholic religion is world wide don't you? Our little turf of the world is very small even though we think the US is the entire world---well some do.
If our constitution holds up then freedom of religion will hold up. If our constitution does not hold up then we are all screwed anyway.

Catholic hospitals take poor people who are on medicaid.
That's not what I meant by fed money. I'm referring to grants or applying for x dollars to help offset costs of this, that, or the other.
