I don't want to see the USPS go under because it is still the best deal around for our company but the gov, workers, unions etc, brought this on themselves. This is what comes from greed.......

Huh? I'm sure they did, but small companies tend to have more of a family atmosphere.

Again, another clueless poster. How do you know they voted for the President? Again, how is 20 years of being badly run the Presidents fault? Nice duck and dodge on the question. And to say people deserve to be fired is as unAmerican as it gets or is it being pro conservative American.

Default Life in Obama's America

I love this line - ""Most employees who lose their jobs should be eligible for government-provided unemployment benefits," Hostess said.

More likely they will stay in Seattle and be unemployed until they can train for a decent paying job, or work for minimum wage.

Unions are destructive. They have forgotten that employment is a two way street - people provide a service, implement a skill, or perform a task, for a wage. If someone refuses to work - guess what - that wage can be eliminated (in other words - you don't have a job anymore).

Unions may have been useful at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution - when we were transitioning fom an agricultural and home based business economy to an industrial one, but they have since outlived there usefulness.

Now anyone who really wants to work can do so - even if they have to move elsewhere - transportation is cheap enough to make such a move possible, if someone has saved their cash for an emergency.

It isn't like one has to stay in the union controlled company town anymore - if you don't like conditions or pay - get another job.

No one can tell you who to vote for . I can guarantee you conservative Indiana a lot of those employees voted for Mitt Romney and just about anyone of those employees living in one of the donut counties esp. 90% voted for Mitt Romney.
