Perhaps if you'd pull your head from the sand you'd learn it's no longer trhe '70s and things change. You're too busy whining about the "jooooooooooos" this and the "jooooooooooos" that to see the reality of the cesspool that is the middle east.
Burdell your so lost you don't even know why we are in the middle east. You think we're playing cops and robbers. I knew typing jooooooos would catch your fancy. You have the attention span of a gerbil. Our monetary system hasn't changed since the 70's. That enough of a clue? You voted to stay over there when you rang the bell for Obama but you are so lost screaming chickenhawk that you don't even know it.

The conflict is complicated. The best thing we can do is to stay out of it. That's really all that can be said. Just stay out of it. Don't support Israel, and don't support the Arabs. Of course, that won't happen, but it's a nice thought.

One refreshing thought here is the recent news that the US may well achieve petroleum self-sufficiency within a decade or so, and become an exporter by 2030:

U.S. Oil Output to Overtake Saudi Arabia

If nothing else, this will diminish the need to give a hoot in hell about what a bunch of medieval barbarians in the Middle East think about stoning women, genital mutilation, and the continued existence of Israel in the homeland of its ancestors.

For every death there have been about 7 casualities, and Palestinians have also suffered a far greater number of these.

Does that include the children they strap bombs to?

We currently don't give a hoot. What we do give a hoot about is that the oil that comes outta the ground is only traded in US dollars.

Well, since you choose to start with the personal attacks with your gerbil BS I have only one reply: YOU are full of crap and would be making a step up IF you had the knowledge of a gerbil.

Actually if you look at the videos on line, it shows the adults marching and doing combat exercises and doing none of the fighting. But if you look at almost all of the past videos of whom is confronting the Israelis it is all teenagers without an adult in sight. Thus the street combatants are the children and the leaders are the adults who hide in the background (or fire the missles) and thus it should be no surprise that many of the deaths will be children (internationally known as those who haven't reached their 18th birthday). If one looks at the Syria videos, the adults are fighting and there are no children in site (even as onlookers). In fact the same thing was true of the Tunisia and Egypt videos. And IMO the Arab world has noticed this too. They all offer verbal backing and UN backing but no troops, no weapons and very little funding(except for Iran & Qatar) .
