I don't see your point. Although I have not read the entire article, it says blacks leave for the suburbs, not that they move away from Austin That probably means that they are doing well...

But Austin itself if the capital of Texas is moved suffers. Not really much over all taxbase their other than what others funnel in to the capitaL.I can see houton and dallas fightig over Austins bones to be new capital.

And then a Republican area of Austin will secede from the rest of now-independent-from-Texas Austin, and then a street full of Democrats will petition to secede from the newly indepedent Republican area of Austin, and then it will it go down the line until a thirteen-year-old kid petitions to secede from their parents and claim the basement as a independent republic of awesomeness and marathon Call of Duty sessions...

That's where this whole seccesion thing will end up...

I think San Antonio should be the new capital.

No the US border with all that attracts illegals just moves northward in reality.With ilegals not allowed to work by laws enforced they will actually jusy move northward that is lax on such laws as always.
