According to sources in the State Department and the CIA, and intercepted communications from the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama "staged" the attack in Benghazi in order to create a monumental "October Surprise" that would guarantee him re-election.
Yes, you read that right, and no, I'm not making this up. Obama, we now know, is and has been working with the Muslim Brotherhood secretly to engineer the release of the "Blind Sheik," Omar Abdel Rahman, the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center attack.

I guess we should rename that 'Thanksgiving' to something more appropriate like, 'Sorry, We Screwed the Pooch Day' and someone else ate it.

The administration spun the attack politically. That's what they did. It's ethically wrong, it's not illegal.
There is and will be no evidence that the administration "stood by while people died" or anything supporting any of those type of lies that Fox News tried to sell to sway the election.

But being unethical does tend to lead to other questions, primarily if a line was crossed or not. At the very least, both sides, left and right, should agree to make sure we understand what happened, if there was any illegal behavior, and if so, do the appropriate thing. While you may believe there was no line crossed, it has not been definitively proven one way or another if that was the case yet.
As an example from our near past, Clinton's behavior with Monica was unethical but it was not illegal. His lying about it under oath was illegal. I would never advocate impeaching someone based on unethical only; that would simply be sour grapes. But doing something illegal? Absolutely. We should hold our leaders to the same standards each of us live by each day. They are not exempt from following the law. Nixon thought he was exempt and look at how that turned out for him. He really shouldn't have been pardoned and should have gone to jail.
I really hope that both the left and the right take off the partisan blinders and just get to the bottom of this incident. If nothing else, it can be a lesson learned for future incidents.
