Can't remember which of the old-time networks did it but one of them did jerry-rig a pickup truck to explode thus "proving" it to be unsafe.
Sounds like the organizations asking for money for poor in other countries all using the same "poor children" models. Start noticing and you will see the same children over and over.
The source in this thread is more questionable than CNN. But even if CNN did use a fake video it is certainly not the first time the media made up a story and it won't be the last.

I don't know. If anybody knows what faked/doctored video looks like, it is the folks at Breitbart. That's not to say that I approve of CNN, or anybody else, using fake or misleading footage.
Most people making claims like this are vehemently anti-Semite.
