Poor Decisions:

Mistake 1: Extra Security:
When the UK and other countries were pulling their people out of Libya because of the dominance and threats of al-Qaeda in the area. When Chris Stephens kept asking for increased security because he knew they were going to attack but instead the Obama administration downsized security.

Mistake 2: Leaving Our People Behind
While they were being attacked they begged for help but no help came. They watched them die.

Mistake 3: Not Telling The Truth
Telling the American people the attacks were not terrorist attacks but a result of a movie.

Mistake 4: Perception
The U.S. is viewed as weak and there are increased called for attacks on the U.S. and Israel targets since the Benghazi attacks.

al-Qaeda is on the rise, they want to kill Americans.... So who dies next?

No, but it does bother me when people start making excuses and claims that "I speak from both ends so you should just accept my point".

No, I'm definitely a Republican. My point is that while being a Republican, doesn't mean that I won't admit when the Republicans do something wrong. I expect the same from those who are Democrats. Personally, I think that represents most people but this board seems to bring out the hyper-partisan side of people or something.

There is a chain of command with which how information gets passed down. It now becomes a matter of what intelligence did the President receive and when. 20 different reports coming in is way too much and shows how inept government is. Very easy to get confused with that much coming from too many different sources. Streamlining is your friend in this regard.

Now do I think POTUS told the entire truth, no, government never does and to be honest, Americans really don't want to know the hard truth sometimes esp. when questions get asked as to what did we do to invoke such a response. We like to stay oblivious to that and think we do no wrong. Personally, I think it was a combination of both protests (which the local populace would have known about) and ansar al sdjfasjfldsj or however they pronounce it pouncing at the opportunity for a strike amid the chaos. Makes it easier to get away with.

The government isn't stupid as much as people would like to think they are. Congress isn't stupid as much as people would like to think they are. At this point both parties are just jockeying politically because at the end of the day, there will be some truth in what the administration said. You always bury a lie inside the truth because it makes it easier to swallow. You just don't blatantly lie about it as you always need something else to fall back on when you get busted.

I couldn't care less about what party you associate with. I care about what you post.

southbel, I agree. The point is anytime the left try to defend Obama they point to Bush or another administration. It's psychology. Find the "fall guy" and point and blame and people will buy it. Obama is doing the very same thing with his class warfare rhetoric. Half of the US population, the productive Americans are demonized.

Obama's play book is so damn obvious it's pathetic people can't see it.

In truth, Obama has never taken responsibility for anything that has gone wrong. The American people refuse to hold him accountable. A majority continues to blame our economic troubles on George Bush. If the republicans don't speak up for what they believe in they also become the fall guys. Just like the left have their beliefs, so does the right but the right has no rights in America, they must fall in line to Obama's demands. Obama is just blowing smoke up our asses when he says he wants to work with others but it is a my way or the highway option.

Obama will always blame someone else.

I think that when you make these kind of accusations, you should provide proof. The inane rantings of a helmet head on Fox don't count as proof.
