I already argued the point. You then tried to dismiss what I said because you supposedly have a gay, Republican friend who says "blah, blah, blah." You tried to use your friend and his identity to argumentatively shore up your argument that I clearly refuted. Then you whined about me supposedly calling you stupid.
So what point are you wanting me to argue?

The church seems to care more about keeping gay americans from marrying than providing for people in poverty these days.
The catholic church is comprised of men who feel superior. They seem to forget that their god loves everyone and would never judge someone the way the church does. The churches shouldn't even be involved in these issues
All Catholic's who voted for Obama ex-communicated themselves from the Holy Apostolic Church. By choosing to select a known individual who interferes with the sanctity of life in so many ways, chose of their own free will to reject the fundamentals of compliance, with all RC understandings of God and the living moment of Christianity himself.
While Obama asks that Crucifix's are covered upon visiting an institution and other anti life influence's and abominations, twisted mentally deranged individuals posing as Catholics, imposter's to be sure stand tall for what could be nothing but, the shadowed attempt in a confused state, of the Prince of Darkness Himself.
All Catholic's who supported Obama are clearly not, in Communion with The Son of God as well The Communion of Saints by their own, desire.

Ok, so call it a civil union. I don't have a problem with that. But, keep the integrity of the term marriage intact. It should mean what it has meant for thousands of years...a union between a man and a woman.
Marriage never meant what you want it to mean for thousands of years. Try opening a history book for a change, you might learn something.

You pontificate as if you are Christ Himself. It actually borders on blasphemy. Perhaps you should talk to your priest about the state of your own soul and leave others alone. Oh, and learn how the process of excommunication works.
Especially a church that played hopscotch and chess with its priests rather than acknowledging that they were molesting young boys and putting a stop to it. Why the Church thinks it can talk about morality after ruining so many lives with the immorality of its own priests remains a mystery.
Oh but don't worry, these ignorant bigots still manage to blame that on gays too. They're too stupid to understand the research that shows pedophilia and sexual orientation are not related. A man molesting a prepubescent boy does not make him gay. Gay men do not find the feminine qualities of young boys attractive. It goes against the very characteristics that make someone gay.
But these people will continue to spew lies and ignorance - anything they can do justify their blind hatred of gay people.
Same-sex marriage has been legal in Massachusetts for almost nine years, and it hasn't happened. Why? Because we have a thing called the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. Interfaith marriages are legal, yet some churches (and synagogues) decline to perform them. So this whole "But legalizing same-sex marriage means churches will be forced to do gay marriages!" is a red herring.
In fact, in my state which just legalized same-sex marriage during the elections, our Civil Marriage Protection Act specifically states no religious body will be forced to officiate a same-sex marriage if they don't want to. It's built into the law.

It's always been a man and a woman. Sometimes a man was allowed multiple marriages to multiple wives....but it's always been 1 man and 1 woman.
