Naw, that would be Griff Jenkins over at FOX who first used "teabaggers" to describe the reactionary right-wing morons who turned out to be a laughingstock.
"Joe the Plumber" was yet another stupid idea by Republicans. Plant an oversized skinhead-looking goon to approach candidate and future great President Obama, pretend to be your average "Joe", who happens to be a plumber making over $250K per year, so they can attack President Obama on taxes.
This without addressing the glaring problem that McCain represented as "McSame" or "McBush" or "more Bush." No wonder they lost then and are STILL losing. Glad the undeserving GOP plant lost.
As any fertilizer salesman will tell you, "If they're buying ****, sell ****". Fortunately, no one was buying in 2008 or 2012.
You continue to berate people for using a term that the Tea Party has chosen for themselves. Seems awful presumptuous of you to tell them they can't use this term when they have obviously embraced it. Who are you to tell them they can't be teabaggers for Jesus, anyway?

Explain how they "planted" him in his own driveway
when The Obama stopped by to campaign.
He talked to Obama in his driveway? I don't think so.
Yes. If it wasn't his driveway, it was a couple of doors down.
Look it up. "Joe" may have been used as some sort of
symbol, but he happened into it all quite innocently.
I'll say this -- no one has ever milked more out of his 15 minutes of fame, absolutely squeezed every last tiny drop of blood from the fleeting stone of fame... or notoriety, or whatever you'd call Joe's brief moment in the spotlight -- than Joe the Plunger.

I bet if ya asked him, he'd prolly rather have kept working as a plumber.
Might even have a license by now.
He won the GOP primary for an Ohio house seat. But I hadn't heard a single mention of this guy's campaign or the election results. Four years ago, you couldn't turn on your TV without hearing both Obama and McCain dropping his name repeatedly.
Turns out it was real close, but he lost by about 73% to 23%.
He ran against an incumbent who has been around for ages and is used to racking up big numbers.
She''ll never get a leadership position because she's not part of the liberal elite.
