No no no. CORPORATE WELFARE is bajillions of dollars in annual handouts to CORPORATIONS, not people. It's the Republicans who insist on this unneeded welfare to corporate entities like Exxon, etc. And thanks to them, corporations have free speech as if they were individual people....i.e., they cannot be restricted from promoting their collective views.
During the Great Depression FDR was amazed that we did not have riots in the streets. I think those Americans were much tougher breed than most Americans are now.

A lot of veterans are on government assistance and should not be begrudged that legitimate assistance. And there are millions of families who have lost jobs, and they have children they are obliged to feed. They are not the natural moochers, so let's not confuse the two kinds.
