So what was the problem way before Hamas, and PLO ? Israel has it out for them no matter what. They would love to own all of that land eventually. Their greed runs deep.
You may want to research the region under the Ottoman Empire. There were many Jewish villages (not settlements) in Gaza (which fyi is really called Azza by the natives) who brought Agriculture to the region in the 1800s and built numerous farms. Most Arabs are herders and not farmers, so most of the large towns which are now cities were workers for those farms. Israel does not want Gaza under any stretch of the imagination (just look to the East, there are is only a couple of towns nearby all the way to the Jordan River) as the Palestinians have decimated the aquifer under themselves (Israel currently uses drip irrigation and water recycling plants for their agricultural needs).
Yet it was the Gaza Strip residents and other Palestinians that put the terrorist organization Hamas into power, just like they did with the PLO. So clearly they must want all this death and destruction, or they would not have voted to give Hamas the authority.
do you want them to emulate the kevin bacon charechter in the movie animal house and meekly lay down while uttering
" please sire may i have another "
?
pallestinians have been made refugees in their own home for decades , only an idiot would expect them not to fight back even they have zero sympathy for them
So Hamas kills 3 and Israel kills over 100. Yep sounds even to me.
Sounds great to me too! Kinda like that guy the other night on Judge Judy, he swung at the defendant, the defendant punched him back once, broke his jaw, and it had to be wired shut, and Judge Judy told the guy, "Don't start fights". BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Don't fire thousands of missiles, unless you wanna suffer some butt hurt.

Also it is worth noting that Hamas hasn't paid Israel for the electricity supplied by the Israeli Electric Company and has accumulated a huge debt. I doubt in the USA any electric company would continue supplying electricity in such circumstances.

Ugh, this poster again?
Yes, because we all know how the poor, poor pals have spent so much time and billions of aid dollars building this fantastic country of theirs into an economic/technology powerhouse.
The spend every nickel they have on weapons and terrorism, but boo hoo hoo we are supposed to feel so, so sorry for them...
