Why should we stop supporting Israel? What do you have against Jews?

Maybe when muslims stop supporting terrorism, things might change.

I guess that is one way of looking at it.

Another way would be, tough. Once voters demand we no longer support Israel, then it will happen.

It is unlikely. They are our only reliable ally in the Middle East. Their enemies are determined to continue acting like roving packs of rabid dogs.

Israel would probably get by just fine without our government sending them money non-stop. Personally, I think it's ridiculous to run around the globe handing out money (bribes really) to every nation on earth when we can't even balance our own budget. But within the culture of the USA throwing money at everyone, aid to Israel makes a lot more sense than aid to Pakistan or Egypt or the Palestinians, etc. They're on our side and we know it. Those others are not.

The US should support a two-state solution which includes support for both a secure Israel and a Palestinian state that can function without intrusions

US should not stop supporting Israel since Israel supports the US technologically, defense-wise, and in terms of product development. US-Israel have mutual trade relations so it works both ways. US just needs to separate its trade relationship with Israel from political positioning. Goal needs to be a two-state co-existing Israel with a Palestinian state that is run by the Palestinian people. Aside from that, US has a right to maintain ally trade relations with Israel but at the same time, not support anything that disrupts the road map to peace. US should therefore stay out of taking a stance on where Israel should build settlements and where not

I'm not saying I want to get rid of them. But as long as they control the banks and the media, all politicians have to kiss their behinds to win elections.

I wasn't complaining, I was making an observation.

Last I checked they are the only ones over there not wishing us death. Cut the US funds from the crackpot countries and use the money to secure the US southern border with the national guard.
