That oil not being traded in dollars would be cataclysmic is an economic theory. Given how frequently in history the economic theorists have been completely wrong, what reason is there to believe that this time they're correct?
America will stop supporting Israel, when American Jews are either poor, or gone.
Better check again. It's conservative American Christians that are politically engaged with and who primarily fund pro- Israel. They also represent the majority of inbound tourism to Israel. It's not about freedom of religion. Rather, it 's all about a 100 year old belief that Jews must possess their own country in the holy land before JC can return.
Of course the Jews will be given the opportunity to repent and accept JC before the final rapture whisks the true believers away to never-never land.
Israel is delighted to take our money and support regardless of their disbelief in the motives.
Israel spends $18 billion annually to defend a country the size of New Jersey. It clearly doesn't need that money to defend against Palestinians throwing rocks and firing off bottle rockets. Also, Israel was last invaded in the 70's. The majority of the $3 billion of military aid to Israel is required to be spent on US equipment and weapons. It seems more like a subsidy to the US weapons industry more than aid.
Heck of a lot of US jobs are dependent upon the US continuing to provide military financial aid to other nations.
OP, you need to be aware that when criticism of Israel (or anything they won't like you saying) hits any message board or comment section, a red flag on the net signals all the pro-Israel supporters to rush to its defense regardless of if you have a valid argument or not. They have Washington wrapped around their finger and that won't change until this country collapses.

Yep-nailed it. Many, many American Jews do not agree with the inhumane things going on in Israel-or The US for that matter.
One of Israel's biggest critics (and most cited living Author in the World) is an American Jew from Philly, Noam Chomsky.
I hope so. A first world country doesn't need our charity. No cons calling them leeches though, shocker.
Hmmm Back stabbers? Yes
Ungrateful? Yes
Leeches? They do actually provide us with intelligence on occasion, provide training to our troops (cross training) I benefitted from it myself twice. The question is does Israel return an equal value for what they get? I would say absolutely not.
I'm not saying I want to get rid of them. But as long as they control the banks and the media, all politicians have to kiss their behinds to win elections.
I wasn't complaining, I was making an observation.
Last I checked the banks were public companies owned by their shareholders. Institutions, primarily mutual funds are the majority owners. The funds are owned by pension plans, insurance companies and all sorts of retirement funds.
They two largest single owners of News Corp , parent of Fox News , are a Jew and a Muslim Saudi Prince who have mutual interests all over the world. Not so strange bedfellows.

As long as there is a United States of America, there will be a free and safe Israel. As warped as our country has become with the immorality, gay this and that...at least we have this one mission in God's name, to protect his chosen people.
Then those "chosen people " will be given a final opportunity to repent and accept JC as their lord and savior or be damned to hell.
This rapture notion that some Christians swear bye is only 100 years old. It did not gain traction till Israel was established in 1948.

American Jews have little to do with it. The country of Israel gives our politicians huge amounts of campaign money, its called the "Israel lobby." Israel is a rich country, but that campaign money causes America to give Israel more foreign aid money than any other other country in the world. America also veto's resolutions in the United Nations all the time that are critical to Israel, ex.ex.
But thankfully the above source shows how recently both democrats and republicans turned their backs on the Israel lobby (but this may be the first time it ever happened, and Israel still has our politicians on leashes.)
When ever you hear a politician say "Our friends in Israel" or "We will always support Israel" it has nothing to do with military bases or Jesus. Rather its because the Israel lobby gave them huge amounts of campaign money.
But I don't blame Jewish people or Israel, rather its America's gullible corporate controlled government. China walks on America the same way by "dumping" on US markets, manipulating currency values, copying US patents, ex.ex.
