I think it depends on who does the initial posting. Why would anyone bother posting about someone, anyone pumping their own gas. how else would we get our gas? As for where he is and lives, for heaven's sake, he has a home in the area, why wouldn't he be living there. So the state is liberal, so they voted Obama, do posters here thing there are no Republicans living in Ca?

He obviously didn't have a chauffer taking them out for pizza, did he? So yes, I would think he would be pumping his own gas. Did you know Barack Obama is rich too? Are you going to freak out if you see him pumping gas after he is out of the White House?

Obama's wealth is miniscule compared to Mitt's.....and Obama wasn't brought up in privilege like Mitt.....there is no comparison between the two in this aspect.

Doesn't matter. It's all relative;both of them are way more wealthy than most of us will ever have, I'm sure. So what if Romney grew up with money? Does that make you mad? The money was earned honestly. Why have an attitude against someone just because they have money? From what I have seen he has never acted like he was too good to pump his own gas.

OMG.....people simply find it unusal to see a man of Mitt's wealth pumping his own gas....because guess what.....most do not.
And yes, I do dislike Mitt Romney.....and it isn't because of his wealth. I don't like him becasue he is dishonest and self serving. He wanted to be president not to serve the people, but to feed his own ego. Plain and simple.
bush senior was vilified 20 years ago because he was supposedly clueless about how upc codes on grocery products worked. the take-home message being that he was so insulated from everyday life that he didn't know any better.
