No, the US was not founded by tyrannical nut-jobs hellbent on dictating every facet of life of the American people.

The Founding Fathers would be appalled by how much the left has usurped from the American people and how them presidency has turned into a King like apparatus.

Even Thomas Paine wasn't left. The FF were libertarians with Adams and Hamilton flirting with moderate type.

There will always be a second party because the first cant deliver what it promise. Graham is new world order, and a closet homosexual.

April 15, 2011: House passes Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) budget, which includes $5.8 trillion in spending cuts along with tax cuts for the richest Americans.

May 5, 2011: Vice President Joe Biden begins debt talks.

May 11, 2011: Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) says he will not raise debt limit without spending cuts that match how much the limit is raised.

June 23, 2011: Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) walks away from debt ceiling talks with Biden after refusing to consider any tax increases. The administration had offered $2.4 trillion in spending cuts for $400 billion in taxes, an 83:17 split.

July 7, 2011: Obama and Boehner begin debt-ceiling negotiations.

July 9, 2011: Boehner walks away from Obama’s “grand bargain”: $4 trillion in debt reduction comprised of $1 trillion in revenue and $3 trillion in spending cuts, including entitlement reforms.

July 19, 2011: The Gang of Six proposes a $4 trillion deficit reduction plan, including $2 trillion in revenue.

July 22, 2011: Again, Boehner walks away from negotiations after Obama offers $1.2 trillion in revenues and $1.6 trillion in spending cuts, including entitlements.

July 31, 2011: Debt ceiling agreement is reached, cutting $1 trillion in spending immediately and establishing the super committee to reduce deficits by at least an additional $1.2 trillion.

October 26, 2011: Democrats first super committee offer is $3 trillion in deficit reduction comprised of about $1.3 trillion in revenues and $1.7 trillion in spending cuts, including cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Republicans immediately reject it. Republicans’ first super committee offer is $2.2 trillion in deficit reduction, which includes no new tax revenues.

November 8, 2011: Republicans’ second super committee offer is $1.5 trillion in deficit reduction. It does include $300 billion in new tax revenue, but in exchange for extending the Bush tax cuts and lowering the top tax rate. The plan would ultimately cut taxes for the wealthy and raise them for everyone else.

November 10, 2011: Democrats’ second offer is $2.3 trillion in deficit reduction, consisting of $1.3 trillion in spending cuts and $1 trillion in revenue. The revenue would be split between $350 billion in concrete measures and $650 billion in future tax reform. Republicans reject it.

November 11, 2011: Democrats agree to Republicans’ top lines including just $400 billion in revenues and $875 billion in spending cuts, but refuse to accept the GOP’s tax cut for the rich. Republicans reject it and make their final offer: $640 billion in spending cuts and $3 billion in revenues.
Well that just goes to show you what a liar Obama is. He's also claimed for every $1 in tax increases he'll cut $2.5 of spending.

If he truly offered $200 (or $230) billion a year, they would be asking for $500 (or $575) billion in spending cuts.

Neither of those puts us on a sustainable path.

You are the Useful Idiots that Stalin spoke of.

Well there's part of your problem right there. Your understanding of your opposition is delusional.

I always find it fascinating when the contemporary right wing presumes to speak for the founders and framers. It includes a veritable cottage industry of fake quotations from Jefferson and Franklin, Adams and Henry that pepper right wing blogs and chain emails. I'll take their own real words over your retrospective mind reading any day. And in them I find little support for your position here.

The alternative universe within which American conservatives dwell will only serve to deliver you more and more elections where Karl Rove and Fox News provide the comedy relief.

The "left" cannot become the ash heap of history unless human social progress ceases to move forward. The Republican Party and the conservative movement on the other hand is wedded to stasis and mythological nostalgia futily trying to hold back the progress that will right the future.

How do you know he's a liar? The Republicans rejected the offer without even considering it.

The timeline from last years proves you to be completely mistaken. It is fascinating how you guys will pick wishful fantasy over simple objective reality every time. That's why you never say November 6th coming.

Progress that will right the future doesn't at all involve outlandish social programs with which you never had the money to pay for in the first place.

Progress is a grim picture indeed. With just a mere 7 billion people on the planet and 315 million Americans the US uses 25% of the worlds resources.

So are you going to now espouse that 4.5% of the worlds population can use 25% of the world's resources and that's sustainable?

No, of course it's not. What is sustainable is 4.5% of the world's population using 4.5% of the worlds resources.

You think the current federal bureaucracy can obtain those goals? No, of course it can't. When you see a reduction of 80% in the current federal government you'll know you're on a sustainable path. Till then your entire argument is all smoke and mirrors.

Thanks for the rep by the way. I'll share it ASAP.
