No, actually George W. Bush took Reagan's policies almost as far as they could go, and for all intents and purposes put America on life support. Had it not been for Obama 2008, America would now be owned in toto by the Chinese.

That is a feat for the history books that a single man, who is not even a dictator, could destroy the US in a mere 8 years.

All we have heard for the past four years is that Obama has done that very thing.

No, what you heard was that Obama ran up the debt/deficit more than any other President in the same time span.

Nope. Read the more hysterical threads. Perhaps I should just learn to ignore those myself.

This millennial agrees with you.

I personally voted for Gary Johnson, but Romney did not say one thing to me as a young voter that made me think he could do any better. Obama has at least shown somewhat some improvement, might as well finish fully cleaning up Bush's mess.

I am no fan of outsourcing, but neither am I a rabid protectionist. Troglodytes oppose automation, everyone else adapts.

BTW, that's something that the GOP never really "got"... that despite all their attempts to hang the economy on Obama (aka "anyone but Obama"), the fact is that most of the public still blames Bush for the current mess. And in exit polls, only 1 in 10 said they primarily voted against the other guy. So without presenting a compelling "alternative" (as the GOP still fails to do), Romney was doomed.
