As an aside, if Texas secedes, perhaps the federal funding that was directed to that population to maintain the Federal courts, parks, prisons, military, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc. there would be re-directed to California (except for Austin).

The GOP tactic of destroying good union jobs, outsourcing, cutting taxes for corporations and the wealthy, instituting regressive taxation, etc. is a tribute to their monumental greed. I'm glad California voted for common sense and a team effort. Always ahead, California.

I have high hopes for California as well under Governor Jerry Brown. Things are starting to improve.

We all know the only real fiscal conservatives left are actually democrats after all every single republican we've had in office has done nothing but spend spend spend. That's why I laugh when I hear about say Romney who would reign in spending yet he would also increase defense spending. They are bs artists is all that they are and they should change there names to the welfare queen party. Simply because that is what they are they are driving around in fancy cars while there homes fall apart on them.

Germany?

LOL Hey Wilhelm as a native Californian I can tell you the Democrats have been in charge of this mess since the 1980's.

The Democrats are the cause of the mess in California.

The first step in recovery is acceptance.

So, the real question is - when are the Democrats going to realize that taxing and spending other people's money like a drunken sailor won't ever work?

It's astounding the lengths liberal democrats will go to, to avoid taking responsibility for what their party has done. GOP mess in California? You expect anyone to take you seriously? You think the absolute rock solid majority the democrats have had in state politics have nothing to do with the state of the state?

How long will it take Brown to fix California? Never, he'll continue the liberal policies that got the state in trouble and it will not be "fixed".
