Liberals should be taxed to the point that they can no longer afford internet connections.

Then us intelligent folk won't have to read their retarded posts.

Poverty is alleviated because of capitalism. It's the only thing that has ever helped poor people get unpoor.
So you don't think reducing poverty has no positive effect on the economy?

Social Security takes money from one person and gives it to another. It's transferring money around. Nothing more. It does nothing to reduce poverty.

It has no positive effect on the economy.

Poverty has been reduced because of capitalism.

Hell, if shuffling money around reduced poverty we could all just quit our jobs and trade money all day.

By all means, please post your charts, graphs, and other evidence.

Any evidence to back up your assertions? From where I sit, Social Security which one pays through a payroll tax, has changed senior's live, who used to live desperate lives, into dignified retirements. Hows you can characterize that in negative light is beyond me.

So, the gov't forced them to have their employer to take x amount out of their paycheck and add a matching amount and send it to the gov't.

Suppose, instead, the gov't bought U.S.Savings Bonds with all that money? Or even opened a separate bank account in their name.

Would they be better off then WITH SS?

Who cares? The success of Social Security is indisputable and seniors live better than they previously did. If you want to argue about changes to the program, go write ahead, it's your time you're wasting.

The "success" of Social Security is based on the losses of workers who pay in for decades and die before collecting.

Go right ahead and start a movement to eliminate Social Security. Just one warning, don't show your Powerpoint presentation at any senior centers. You may not make it out alive.

So you admit that the system is corrupt because the workers who lose all their money can't vote, and that's okay.
