Since those poorly written "articles" didn't bother to explain, I'll ask you.

How does a NATO ally deploying air defense missiles on its own territory constitute US "intervention?"

It doesn't.

BRUSSELS ā€” The potential deployment of Patriot missiles on Turkeyā€™s border with Syria will have a deterrent effect and not be seen as an indicator that NATO is being drawn into the conflict, the allianceā€™s secretary general said Monday.

ā€œActually, I do believe a possible deployment of Patriot missiles will have a de-escalating effect on the situation, because it will be an effective deterrence, so that a potential aggressor wouldnā€™t even think about attacking Turkey,ā€ NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in an interview with Stars and Stripes.

It only hit the international news a few hours ago. How about we see where it goes over the next few days/weeks? Turkey has already been firing missles into Syria since the beginning of October.

Turkey fires on Syria in retaliation incident: state TV | Reuters

Query is: Why is it okay for Turkey to use missles in response to mortars that have landed in their fields? Why is it okay for Turkey to fire at civilian targets? Why doesn't Turkey get a Iron Dome like Israel used to intercept mortars?

Pruzhany, why are you using a photo from a car bomb attack in Aleppo to make your point? That's a bit on the deceptive side, wouldn't you say?

What should they use - harsh language? And your links has no mention of missiles - just basic artillery. It's called counterbattery fire.

As fas as can be told, they aren't. They're trying to hit mortar positions to hopefully discourage Syrian mortar crews from dropping ordnance on Turkish territory.

Ehm - Patriot missiles are the closest NATO has to the Iron Dome system. Weapons systems aren't something you order on Amazon and set up over the week-end, they're kinda complex and take trained personnel.

Besides, Russia and the usual gang of idiots would throw a fit over that, too. What makes you feel that would be more acceptable than Patriots? Or is that you don't know that Patriot missiles are surface-to-air - utterly useless against ground targets?

Considering Syria has been launching periodic attacks on a NATO member nation, NATO is already involved whether they like it or not.
