If homosexual marriage is a civil rights issue, then why aren't polygamy and prostitution? (ethics, illegal)

Polygamy and prostitution are stigmatized in our society and illegal in most places, just like homosexual behavior once was. There is growing evidence that promiscuity among humans (especially males) is inborn and genetic.
So, shouldn't plural marriage and paying for sex be considered civil rights issues?
Get enough people behind you to lobby for plural marriage. Have at it, this is America.
Eventually, you all trying to make absurd calls for polygamy, man-beast and man-object marriages will go so far, you'll make even gay marriage seem downright conservative in comparison, which should only help gay rights.
You cannot just totally rip apart ethics and morality.

Some crazy people actually believe that pedophilia is a human rights issue..That they should be free to do what they want with children. Children are the property of the parents...not of the state and not of any other persons. Human rights are to protect what is right and good for the healthy survival of the populace. Do homosexuals need special "human rights" to be homosexuals? I would say no. They can do what they want in private...sexuality in any form is a private and not a public matter..In the case of children...it IS an issue of protective human rights...Homosexuals are adults and can protect themselves...They are not babies and their life style is their business...Heterosexuals do not demand protection in regards to pairing up...Gays and lesbians had better stand on their own two feet and not expect special treatment..They are supposedly fully functioning adults capable of taking care of themselves.
