How many of the Congress-critters do you think are going to still be in Washington over the Christmas/New Year's break?
Indeed - and the fact is the budget is THEIR responsibility, NOT Obama's. The President can facilitate and help move the process along with suggested budget of his own, but in the final analysis CONGRESS creates the budget - NOT the President.
Have you forgotten that Hawaii is Obama's home state, and it is where his family lives?
Have you forgotten that nearly everyone in the U.S. takes vacation time and visits family during the holidays, including our government officials?
I certainly didn't forget that this man made a promise to the american people in the debates that the middle class would not see a tax increase. Yet we will definitely get a huge increase if America goes over the fiscal cliff.
If Obama really cared about the American people, he would put off his vacation and burn the midnight oil to stop the crisis.
According to liberal/socialists in this country, conservatives are "out of touch" with the common person. Obama campaigned on a "people first" platform. The "everyday working Joe." "What is better for them." "I know. I am for the people."
How many people in the United States can and, moreover, will afford a Christmas vacation in Hawaii? How close is Obama to the family in Michigan or Pennsylvania, buried in 10 feet of snow, at zero degrees or lower, while Obama is sunning himself on a beach?
Obama is no "common man." He is just as filthy rich as Romney and all the other 1% the liberals complain about. He is going to be on a beach, not just a beach, but a beach shut down for HIM and his FAMILY ONLY. He will have a private beach, for his using. How many of you have gone to Hawaii and had your own private beach?
Wow. Bush went to Crawford, Texas. Let me see here, Crawford Texas VS Hawaii? What is the perception of how the "common man" can afford this vacation? After all, the democrats represent the common man, right?
Please, Obama is no "common man" and has no clue how the other 99% of us live, anymore then Romney does. He has and will continue to live the life of privledge, 99.5% of us will never see and/or experience.

Do you not think that people are born, live and die there - in other words, spend their entire lives there?

People also live in Florida and California. They have beaches there too. Even have beaches in North Carolina!

which is basically why people need to pay more attention to the other elections as well. I think some people missed that whole lesson of Bill from Capitol Hill.

Was the country about to go over a fiscal cliff when Bush took his vacation? Was the country close to having to discuss the debt crisis?
Bush addressed the issues that needed to be addressed before taking a vacation. He didn't skip off like a little boy, giving his finger to people who wouldn't play by his rules, and say **** it. And that is exactly what Obama is doing.
Obama should be addressing the issues of this country. Oh, wait. He's the president and he won't be getting another term - not to worry, just make the best of the taxpayers money while he can.

If Obama was taking his family on vacation to North Carolina to see "the beaches," no one would complain. Its Hawaii. NOT NC or California. When people think of Hawaii, they think of sun, fun, etc. You don't think of fun "OMG!!! Were going to NC!!!" Sorry, it doesn't register that way and it doesn't work that way.
Obama is a ruling elite class, you liberal/socialists complain about. But he is your "god," so you will defend him to the ends of the earth. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.
