Sorry, just a question that the literate readers will ask. Exactly where in the article does it state that this Officer was a Republican or Conservative???

Nice of you to sully this fantastic act of kindness with mindless pseudo-political dribble.

Why make an act of kindness political? What is wrong with just one person helping another?

So you take an act of selflessness and kindness and use it to score cheap political points ?!?! Classy.
Kudos to you for a counter productive thread "par excellence"...

Was the Cop wearing a GOP badge BTW or did you just assume ? And I assume you know every single person who passed by and their personal politcal affiliations or the acts of kindness they might or might not have done anonymously for example , whichever party they belong to ? Because even as a leftist loonie I am quite willing to acknoweldge acts of kindness from the other side of the political spectrum.

Your black and white vision of the world is truly disturbing and one ponders how much time you must waste trying to think of threads to whip up hysteria and faux outrage to justify your own twisted views. Life is a little more complex than you seem to think.

What are you ? Six years old ? Your strident and churlish threads always betray so much aggression and loathing, it must be so deeply unpleasant to have such a narrow minded idea of what people and our society is.

Whether that cop was GOP, or Democrat it was an act we should celebrate but you are so full of bile you can't even comprehend this, the spittle from your hateful toxic rhetoric never dried on your lips. I can see this big vein on your furrowed brow throbbing with fevered disgust at everything you disapprove of and your little pugnacious fists all clenched up with petulant bellicosity.

How utterly, utterly sad. What a waste of humanity.

Thanks to "goodie two shoes liberals," that cop belongs to a union that ensures he earns enough to buy that guy a pair of shoes.

This story made me happy at first, but I felt a bit depressed by the time I finished it. It saddened me that people are so amazed by this simple act of kindness. Where I live, greater acts of generosity are so commonplace that this wouldn't have been a bleep on the radar. The fact that this is such a big story in NYC seems to be a sad commentary on the state of humanity in that area.

WOW!

I think we have to credit you with an act of kindness for such a generous assessment!

Shame on you! Only a fool would say such a crass and stupid thing, trying to make an act of real kindness into some more senseless political BS.
