Anyone can get a church bulletin. Just like anyone can get a newspaper to get coupons.

If you don't want to go get one, its your choice not to.

They did not think it out thouroughly before they decided on the discount. It is biased.
The owners of the restaurant agreed. Since the purpose of the discount had absolutely nothing to do with religion, its sole purpose was to attract more business during slow hours, the owners agreed to give a discount to anyone, "including publications from the Freedom From Religion Foundation, as long as they maintain the Sunday discount program."

Only the OP seems upset with this arrangement.

Once again, the LAW is specific - regarding discrimination. I somehow doubt that age would be included, at least in regards to giving discounts.

Indeed.

Per the Civil Rights Act, businesses are not allowed to discriminate on the basis of religion, and a discount on the basis of bringing in a church bulletin certainly respects religious discrimination.

Perhaps you should lobby to get the law changed. But maybe you just think laws should be ignored when you don't like them.

Brilliant.
What about this?

Discimination based on age is not prohibited by the Civil Rights Act. It is rather absurd that you need to have this explained to you.

Any based on religion and church attendance? Can you say "por favor?" Is being a senior a choice?

This is an easy one. Make a list of all the Churches in the Area that they want business from and have those Churches put a COUPON in their bulletin to be redeemed for the discount. The Restuarant can make a small donation to each Church to cover the printing costs.

Our church bulletin has several of these coupons from christian and other businesses from the area.

It's so easy it's childs play.

Silly atheists trix are for kids.
