Really? You think he couldn't have used a knife or poisoned her coffee? Drug control might have prevented her from being killed by a gun but it wouldn't have prevented her being killed.

Sad story, but not a chance the murder could have been prevented. He was on a mission and he knew what the end result was. If it happened with a gun, a knife, baseball bat, car, or just beat her down.....it was going to happen.
Even if you have zero respect for our Constitution, surely you can reason out that an NFL player or other wealthy individual will have little difficulty obtaining guns.

Hogwash. This guy was a starting linebacker in the NFL. He could have easily killed her with his bare hands if he wanted to. However, of course the anti gun freaks will use this as a rallying cry for gun control.
