Now during Christmas and Holiday season, what do you prefer people greeting you (incl. people that don't know you)?

Christmas is a national holiday celebrated by 96% of Americans. It is a Christian holiday to honor the birth of Christ.

"Merry Christmas, Marcopolo, here's the present I got for you."

How many of these ridiculous persecution threads do you plan on posting Nunnor? This is classic trolling.

Happy Holidays unless they know me, in which case Happy Hanukkah is also appropriate. If someone knows me and wishes me a Merry Christmas, I will likely not say anything but feel put off.

There are many holidays in December, not the lease of which is my birthday. It's grammatically correct to wish Happy Holidays versus good wishes for ONE holiday for ONE (or eight) days. Why not wish a whole happy season when most people celebrate at LEAST 2 holidays (either Christmas or Chanukkah and New Year) during the month?
