And maybe you should start by not insulting everyone who might disagree with you, before they even see what you have to say! Didn't you guys learn anything from the election... no wonder you can't get anything done?!!

LOL, WHO is trying to offend WHO here???

And yes, we learned we live with a bunch of stupid people. Yes, you won but WHAT did you WIN? You may find you would have been better of if you'd lost in the end.

RP nails it with:

Quote:
We are indeed headed to a fiscal cliff and have been long before this latest hysteria cropped up. But it is not cuts to spending or reduced government "revenue" that will send us over the cliff, it is continued government spending that will. Until the federal government limits itself to its constitutionally-mandated role, spending and taxation will remain out of control.
Raising the taxes on the rich is a drop in a leaking bucket. We've got to stop and control the spending.

Let's hit the cliff if we must. That may be the best plan available.

Yes- Things I learned from the election

1. most US citizens are idiots, as reflected by the average IQ of Americans at 96 and falling (the average IQ of an Obama voter is 88, which puts them a shade above mentally retarded.
http://www.sodahead.com/united-state...estion-699647/)

2. presidential performance has no bearing on re-election chances

3. emotional attack ads work

4. one does not have to present any "plan" to the American public

5. The right to an abortion is more important than employment or personal wealth

6. politicians do not have the political will to curb spending, therefore we are doomed as a nation

7. citizens have realized they can vote themselves gifts from the treasury and will continue to do so

8.voting rights should have never been conferred to women or non-property owners

9. The US is permanently divided along ideological lines and cannot continue as such

Ron Paul was, and is, correct, just as Ross Perot was before him. The US population is too dumb to realize that we have already "fallen off a cliff" and are just waiting to hit the bottom. When a candidate like Paul, who actually tells the truth and promotes common sense, has no chance at all of winning an election, we are certainly in perilous times. It appears our nation prefers a charlatin who continues with policy that will assure our own destruction, as he lacks the will or courage to do what is right for the nation. Turn out the lights.

So let me get this straight...you're a "doctor" who knows more about statistics than Nate Silver...and you don't know that by definition the average IQ of any population is 100.

I can only ask: why should anyone believe anything that you have to say?

He is talking about an average IQ when scored in a global population, not a national population. The average of 'any population' is not 100 as you so ignorantly put. By that definition, if you took a population of three people with IQ's of 130, 140, and 150 on traditional scales, the 140 IQ person would only have a 100 IQ by your 'system'.
