Nice deflection.

Answer the question, or TRY to bow out gracefully.

Bull. I am a small business. All the people I've worked with over the last 30 years have been extremely successful businesses, the vast majority of them are lefties.

I don't know why you all keep insisting that lefties don't own businesses. I don't know who's arse you keep pulling that one out of.

Dude, artists and bands form companies from very early on, in order to have band bank accounts, manage their income, pay their crew etc, and have accountants to make sure nobody is ripping them off. (Although sometimes the accountant does just that).

Even small bands are run like businesses, and are from the minute they make a bit of bank playing gigs, and need to print t shirts.

Jay Z would have started out doing this just like everybody else, and would have a business manager that attends to his corporation's tax issues, just like everyone else's corporate structures.

Regardless, he's subject to whatever tax hike for his income bracket is in the works, just like everyone else. And I doubt he's going to suffer for it one bit, and neither will anyone that works for him.

Jay Z has said his views are more in line with the GOP but he just supports the President, probably because he's black.

Jay Z is probably no different than other wealthy people, he engages savvy accountants to minimize his tax exposure but pays whatever is owed. He's not like Al Sharpton who simply refuses to pay taxes.

What business is it of yours or any one else who gives what to charity.
Shall we see your finances and judge you?

Mitt Romney doesn't produce anything.

Jay Z produces a product that people buy. What product did Mitt Romney ever invent and produce from scratch?
Hey, he produced his very own off-shore tax havens to hide his income.

There is a tendency to overrate the wealth of famous people....musicians especially. Jay Z isn't worth 500 million dollars. Not even close. Probably somewhere north or south of 100 million to 150 million. Let's not get carried away.

In any case, why does the OP care so much about Jay Z? Their are many American musicians that are filthy rich so why focus only on him?

Celebrities live in the spotlight and are scrutinized by the public, it just comes with the turf. Especially when they are supporting political agendas.

It's ridiculous to think that anyone should be judging people by what they choose/do not choose with regard to charity.
But, from studies, outside of church donations, seems liberals give more.

It's a stupid and intrusive question that is not his or anyone's business.
So, the post I responded to support its very own (frequently racist) political agenda and that gives it credibility? No.

When you (generic) post this bs, it is completely political. How much does Ted Nugent give?
There you go, it's equally as stupid and none of my business.

Yeah, and then there's this. Singing - of all things. Because you know, making a product that actually makes people happy and giving jobs to a bunch of people who all love what they do, jeez, just imagine if everyone did that.
