Unless your math is really bad, which is very possible.
I didn't add it up. Each of those category links in the .gov document gives the number of workers.
Over 500K workers were in union jobs.
The author just added up all the workers in unions vs workers not in unions.

No, it's right there in the article.

Given a total and a subtotal, it's quite easy to come up with a percentage.

Don't give them so much credit. The price of a hamburger is inversely proportional to the cost of labor, by a power of 3.162 (rounded). I get $15 to $18 per Big Mac, but the raise given to the workers does not offset this additional cost to the company. We're doomed.

If they got their way and got paid 15 bucks an hour, they're just going to be replaced with more desirable people.
