Syria loads chemical weapons into bombs; military awaits Assad's order - World News

I'm torn actually... I've been a supporter of no action in Syria, but chemical weapons changes things a bit. I am leaning more toward getting involved in some way, even militarily, but it should be clear that it would be a short time thing, no nation building etc.

Nope. We don't have the money. Bush and the GOP bankrupted the nation with their 2 unpaid wars and tax cuts for the rich, that we cannot afford more overseas adventurism.

Maybe when Hillary is elected in 2016 and we finally have a surplus when teabaggers lose their influence and the rich pay the tax rates they paid during the Reagan and Clinton years and things return to normalcy. Maybe.

No.

1) Not our concern.
2) Syrian rebels are a bunch of Islamic fundamentalists and Assad enjoys the support of most of his people.
3) Assad will not use chemical weapons against his militant opponents, let alone civilians.
4) Last time we went in under the context of such weapons, we found ourselves staying for 9 years. Oh and we didn't find any weapons.

Didn't the democrat controlled Congress give Bush authorization to go to war in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Based on Bush-known and created lies.
Forgot about that, did you?

Is it okay if Israel uses chemical bombs?
We seem to be agreeable to that.

Israel has admitted using phosphorous bombs during the war against Lebanon last summer, just days after being accused by an Italian television documentary programme of using dense inert metal missiles, which are highly carcinogenic, against the Palestinians in Gaza in July and August.

The Israeli government has admitted that it used controversial phosphorus weapons in its attacks against targets during its month long war in Lebanon this summer.
The chemical can be used in shells, missiles and grenades and causes horrific burning when it comes into contact with human flesh.

What "lies?" The same "lies," that Bill & Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi were telling?

According to floridasandy, the US Navy is already on the scene with a buildup of ships.
I searched for that story yesterday but could find nothing, no news about what she/he claimed.

I guess a couple of 500 pounders on the palace might change someones mind about chemical weaponry.

One man and one man alone was responsible for the Iraq fiasco and it wasn`t a democrat.

Hey, it's their country and their people... If they want to turn their population into bloated corpses so be it...

Let some other do-gooder country go in to Syria and then get lambasted by the rest of the world for being evil empire builders...
