Well. Why don't you educate us then? But use credible links and information.

I suspect the OP has nothing better than tinfoil sites with unfounded accusations against "The Man".

I'm all for the right to protest, it's one of the things that makes the country great. But protesting against those that help defend your right to protest? Seems shady.

Aren't things different now? The Man is now a black man (or, more accurately, half Kenyan). Shouldn't we be all pulling for the team now that The Man is now a Brother?

More drones, fewer trials! All hail Comrade Obama, our Dear Leader!

Oh noooooooooooo, more bad news for the anti-CIA demonstration planned for Saturday morning. In a serendipitous twist of timing that proves karma can truly be ironic, NBC has reported that a senior al-Qaeda leader was killed in a drone strike this morning (and no innocent civilians reported dead in the strike).

According to NBC, "Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Rehman Al-Hussainan, aka Abu-Zaid al Kuwaiti, was killed in Pakistan while eating breakfast, according to the accounts. The 46-year-old cleric was seen as part of the “very top tier" of al-Qaida's remaining leaders in the wake of the death of Osama bin Laden, according to one expert on the terror group."

Now this begs the question: was his breakfast the kind that went Snap! Crackle! POP!

Wow. Why don't you tell us how you really feel? You sound like a sore loser/crybaby.

1) It was in jest and 2) ad hominem sure is a sign of a weak argument.

You should know. You're turning into the Ann Coulter of the Northern Virginia forum.

In reading your article, it shows she was captured in 1989. Going back to your U.S backed military, Carter banned military aid to Guatemala in 1979 due to human rights abuses. Even taking that with a grain of salt, it either makes her a liar in blaming the U.S instead of Guatemala (not in that she was captured - in that respect, whoever did it, American or not, along with the rapists, should be shot), or it means that Carter and Reagan went against the ban (according to your own words, "U.S. -Backed"). No where in the transcript does it mention the CIA. The person she described as an American could be European, or very easily could be an American that went over the fence. In which case, he's a traitor and should also be shot. I highly doubt it was a US official.

The CIA is only as good as the intelligence they receive, right or wrong. If they find there may be someone building bomb jackets in some barren town, they have to act on it. To not act on it may mean another bus, town square or subway blown up and a backlash of epic proportions if it comes out that they knew about it and did nothing because of "being worried about hurting someone". Suicide bombers using human shields is just as bad, and to me, the blame falls squarely on them in terms of collateral damage. All we can do is try our best to limit the amount of that damage.

Regarding torture? If a person is caught with explosives, weapons, etc that they planned on using in an attack or giving to someone else to use, whether it be in the U.S or not, is caught, I really have no problem at all with them being water boarded for information. Is it right? Maybe not, that's for each man to decide on their own. But if it yields credible information that saves lives, I have no problem with it.
We do train those that go back to their countries to do our bidding at the School of Americas at Fort Benning Georgia, their graduation list is a who's who list of right wing terrorist dictators.
To actually believe the CIA stops their covert activities because of some public announcement by the government is being extremely naive think Iran-Contra Affair.
CIA is suppose to be just a intellegence gathering has now turned into Obama private little army along with NATO.
