Taxes should be raised significantly on the rich and moderately on everybody else. We need to pay for the government we want.

48% of republicans favor raising taxes on the rich. So much for 47%.

Count me as one of the 66% of Independents that support it.

Its like the Republicans are trying to committ sucide or something. I live in a State that for too long has been dominated by one party for too long, I do not want the whole country to be like that.

It's not even a tax increase... rather allowing a tax break to expire for the top 2% while retaining it for bottom 98%.

By King Grover's decree, that is a tax increase.

We are sure getting to be a nation of lazy welfare bums who expect the government to confiscate the money of others to hand to us.

Not so much tax them at a higher rate, it's just take their loopholes away. Go after ALL their investments whether they are in American Banks or Swiss Banks or wherever. Watch every single purchase they make and account for where that money is coming from.

If you make over a certain amount, take all tax deductions away. Just tax them at a flat rate for their income and their property every year. If they don't like it they can go live in some 3rd world country and hire their own army to protect them.

70% of Americans were against obamacare.

Thank god we don't live in a democracy!
