Really? I saw a few Marines and Sailors when I went for the LAPD Oral Board. It was recommended during the Oral Prep if we still had em, wear em. Must not be with all Departments though.

I kept my field jacket. Plus one dress (green) uniform. Never wore either one since retiring. Everything else gone.

My DH wears his old BDU/ACU pants when he is doing outside work or fishing. I use my crossed pistols (insignia) on my denim jacket; I earned them and they look good.
