He's often held on a pedestal by those who have leftist ideals, but he was a women beater and garnered millions of dollars during the course of his career. Kinda ironic since he made a sing decrying material possessions. Why is he still revered by people?

I don't think he's so much a hero to liberals as he is to INFPs such as myself.

He is the epitome of INFP.

Now, the beating of women....yeah, that's an issue! Also, it should never be overlooked.

you do know that people on all sides of politics like his music as well as people who are not political at all. nothing wrong with making millions of dollars from your own work. the man was not only a talented song writer and musician he was an artist as well. he deserved his millions! you have proof he was a "woman beater" or do you wanna bad mouth the dead?
