My point being he was a lawful U.S. citizen in possession of a firearm. What did they think he was going to do with it? The most they should have done was take it away and escort him back over the border.

They chain him to a bed and beat the s*** out of him and God only knows what else. He'll probably have to see a Doc when he gets back. That's if they even let him drink that horsep*ss they call water.

Not a lick of it makes us special.

You need to get over your entitled self.
Are you proud of your service to the country? Are you currently in support and proud of our volunteer forces fighting patriotically in harms way?

It's been awhile bro.

Mexicans come to the US illegally and continuously break laws. Obama pushed through DACA for illegal Mexicans. Many DACA applicants have had certain crimes they committed in the US forgiven - wiped away, as passed by law by Obama - in order from them to obtain work permits putting them on a path to citizenship, some having committed multiple crimes.

Obama is a big supporter of illegals, so how about Mexico show some reciprocacy and just ship the boy back to the US as a small show of appreciation for the millions of illegal Mexicans that Obama has made a protected class and now refers to as undocumented Americans?

Thats true but unfortunately the facts remain is that he broke their law. His treatment is another matter altogether. I remember being stationed in the "sandbox" and every thursday the some of the military would go over to "chop, chop square" to see criminals hands (and sometimes heads) get chopped off for their crimes. Some people in the military protested it, but it was their country and all the military could do was prevent us from going there.

Oh one other thing, the story did not say if he did anything while he was in captivity either. He could have pissed off somebody that he should not have or beat up someone, the American media will not print that even if they knew

Yeah, my Dad was a real Marine. A WWII Veteran. He didn't own guns, he didn't ever bad mouth the President no matter who it was and he didn't go around crowing about being a Marine. He did what he had to do when he was 18 years old.

Why, because he was a US citizen.
He committed a crime.

We did a lot worse to those still languishing in Gitmo, and for less.

So you know about Puerto Rico '60-'62 when all the GIs carried Swiss Army knives out on liberty/leave. They would cup the knife in their fist and let the corkscrew or leather awl stick between their fingers. A makeshift push dagger if you will.

Word has it...some got their faces adjusted for trying to mug/jump USGIs in the dark streets and bars.

Nope, not proud at all.
Feel sorry for the dumb patsies who join.
They do nothing for my "freedoms" - neither did you; neither did I.
They put themselves in harms way because they choose to do so.
It certainly doesn't make you special, nor should it grant you special rights in any country, not even the US.
