So now having a beer during your lunch break is enough to get fired? I'm sure some tea party types will have a beer tonight knowing that Fox news got 14 middle class workers fired. Way to go.

Newsflash, don't smoke weed and get drunk on your lunch break if you work for a corporation that took tons of tax dollars to stay in business during a horrible economy, especially if you're a union worker who is probably overpaid and under skilled for the job anyway.

Do you have proof that they were smoking weed? Do you have proof that they were drunk? I've seen the video and the only proof I've seen is that they were drinking beers during their earned lunch break.

So you feel that union workers are overpaid and under skilled? Can't say I'm surprised at that statement.

you think it is good business policy to condone your employees working on a billion dollar assembly line to come back from their lunch break stoned or drunk, or both?

The other employees at the same plant said they were in favor of those guys losing their jobs, because they did not want to be endangered by working with drunks and potheads either.

YES! Having a beer on a lunch break is enough to get someone fired if you have a job with any responsibility.
Lets have a cry for the poor middle class workers. Give me a break.
If I drank on my lunch break I would be fired and I would deserve to be.

You know, those assembly lines have big, dangerous robotic machines, not the place for someone to be drinking and smoking pot.

I wonder how many recalls are due to worker "error".

They were RIGHT to fire them.

Do you have proof that they were drunk or stoned? I had 3 beers last Saturday, wasn't even close to being drunk.
