There was a police escort. if Cleaver were spat on that would be simple assault, an arrestable offense, so why wasn't anyone arrested? He didn't even accuse the guy of spitting on him!
I'll tell you why. Because no one spit on anyone. But why should we be surprised, the left always has to lie to make its point.

The new law doesn't destroy unions, it just gives people the freedom to join and contribute or to choose not to join and contribute. Why is it that the dems. are all for the right for a mother to choose to end her babies life, but is against the right of an individual to choose or decline to join a union.

Like I said it would have been assault, there was a police officer right next to him who clearly recognized that he was acting. Thus no arrest. If anything you had a screamer who can't say it without spraying it.

I agree, it did seem like the guy outside the tent who was telling them not to take down the tent was hoping that they would do just that.

A left leaning site says it was faked and staged and blamed on the unions.
They said the Republicans did it to themselves.
But the union folks came in to save those trapped in the fallen tent by cutting it with their knives to free the people.
And I have read several reports that said after the tent was knocked down it was trampled and shredded by people with knives.
So, it was a fake attack, staged by the Republicans and blamed on the unions.
