My family is middle class. They did not vote for Obama. They are sick and tired of paying for welfare lazy.

Anyone who has their finances in order knows you have to control spending.

Ironic. So who will provide those jobs you think will move us toward a recovery.

I am still waiting to see how from the middle class out works. Are you middle class? How many people are you going to employ?

And just what will $82 billion buy you ?

Sending $82 billion to the USG is going to do what exactly for middle class, the poor and the economy ?
That $82 billion won't even cover the interest the Fed pays on it's loans each month.

Sending money to DC is NOT going to fix the economy.
The economy will have to fix itself on it's own.
Government manipulation is not helping any though.

Exactly. $200K/$250K is too low. Although that is a lot of money they are not the "millionaires and billionaires" that Obama keeps touting.

The only reason I think he came down so low is when he finds out that higher taxes will not do chit it will be easier for him to drop the amount down to $150K. They are already talking about it.

raise the taxes on the wealthy....

funny thing the stupid democrats cant even define wealthy

btw wealth is not INCOME

raising the INCOME TAX on the highest bracket...from 36% to whatever will NOT TAX THE WEALTHY

you could raise the rate from 36% to 90% and WARREN BUFFETT would not pay one penny more that he alreay pays.....(((his WAGE INCOME..is only 100k)

the freaking liberals are the most stupidest lot in the country..they all should be sent packing to siberia

The taxing of the rich is a penalty measure for not doing more better with that money.
They've had about ten penalty free years now. The party is over.

If/when the wealthy (and their corps) do more/better with their money...
the EARNINGS from that and the more/better wages generated will make up the difference.

To the degree that spending warrants cutting (and it does)... it's at the margins.
Trimming and pruning... not the clear cutting of the forests the R's don't care for.

So, since you think the wealthy aren't spending their money wisely, namely on you, you are going to take it from them so that you can give it to yourself.

Is that right ?

What does Obama plan to do with that $82 billion..redistribute to the 99% in the form of a US Treasury check ?

How is taxing going to get you better wages from the very people you just taxed more ?

What reality is that? You think raising taxes $90 billion a year will get the economy back on track and create jobs? News flash, Obama has been borrowing and spending between $1,300 billion and $1,600 billion a year, and what has it gotten us? It's gotten us a fifty year high in poverty and 16 million new people on Food Stamps, and $6 trillion in new debt.

Obama has borrowed/spent $6,000 billion in deficits over four years, and you think taking an additional $270 billion out of the economy, over the next four years, will make any difference at all?

I swear, democrats are irrational, and completely unable to think past their politically partisan mind set.

Barack plans on spending the revenue rasied by tax increases on new programs when the people think the government is going to use the money to pay down the debt.
