Point is that people are leaving blue states for red states because they are better managed.

Really?
So you're saying that, say, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama are better managed than, say, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Oregon? Are you sure about that?

So, then they will just turn those states blue over time, unless it is republicans moving away from democrat states, which then that too makes sense to want to live around like minded people. This graph doesn't prove that people are moving to states that are better managed, it just proves that people are moving from more expensive states to cheaper states. My money would go much further in Texas than it does in New York because of the cost of housing. People makes these choices all the time.
Uh, state legislatures and governorships don't exactly follow the presidential map. For example North Carolina one of the dark green states was run by Democrats more or less from 1898-2010/12. Where as New York and Michigan tends to be fairly split between the two parties.
Texas was also run by Democrats from the 19th century to about between 1992-2002 as was Georgia.
Furthermore the migration from the North to the sunbelt has been occurring since the 1970s. A fair amount of it has to do with AC.
BS:
People are moving from northern Blue states to southern Red states because the Red states are warmer. Most of the people moving are retiring and not moving for a "better" economy. They are moving to avoid SNOW.
If you think somehow the GOP has a lock on success or the Democrats have a lock on failure (or vice verse) you are deluded.
