News from The Associated Press
They are idiots. And while 24 million Americans are without jobs, Obama is doing all he can to entice ever-cheaper labor by promises of big amnesties and even financial aid for college to them.

It seems that Obama is only promising Americans more unemployment checks and food stamps so they can go on shopping at Walmart -- and as long as the free government money rolls in they don't mind at all that there are no jobs.

Why else would Obama have gone to SE Asia right after the election? To give away more jobs, to find cheaper labor agreements for his masters.

You are incorrect.

A balanced budget, no borrowing, America paying off our debt, makes our currency more valuable. A more valuable currency affects trade, which can lead to increases in jobs in America.

Increased jobs, and increased trade, means increased revenue for both state and federal governments.

Once revenue goes back up, then the government can pay down the debt, and hopefully get to a point where the taxes required allow for reducing the tax burden on ALL workers.

The President should be taking charge, and leading the House and Senate, and requiring them to do their job, instead of worrying about not being home for the holidays.

There are MANY american workers who won't be home for the holidays, because they have to work, or help protect our country. Why do our elected representatives believe they are better than us?

About 12 years too late.

True and I was just as upset when Bush did it. Even wrote him my senators AND my representative about it on more than 1 occasion.

I am NOT holding anyone to a level different than someone else.

Though I WILL say, at least we had budget's passed under Bush, even if they may have been late..

The fact that this President has to contemplate whether changing the law to make it legal for companies such as Exxon to export natural gas overseas makes any sense shows just how ignorant he is about economics; if he's really serious about putting people back to work, just do it.

And he whines about or trade deficit?

But given the fact that he's a hostage of the environmental lobby, good luck with that ever happening, let alone the USA taking steps to become energy-independent until he's replaced.

Yeah, isn't it great?

The fact that the Obama haters of America are still livid about his reelection makes his victory even better.
