What makes this worse, in my opinion, is that the Judge was a former prosecutor in Orange County's sex crimes unit. For him to have this idea, that if the woman doesn't resist to the point of injury that it's not "real" rape, while he was charged with prosecuting rapists as his job, brings his prosecutions into question. How vigorously did he prosecute those he didn't think committed "real" rape?
If you read the article the reason he says he made the comments was because he was angry that the prosecutor wanted to see the rapist sentenced for over a decade, and the judge only gave the guy 6 years (out in 2.5 probably)
Reminds me of that other judge who was shown on Youtube beating his disabled teen with a belt and he was a family court judge.
This judge must have had a miserable sex life and speaks from experience...I guess his wife had the habit of "shutting down"- I can hear her now...."Just hurry up and get it over with"...sound like he was a horrifically bad lover who resorted to marital rape.

Santa Ana is the county seat for Orange County, one of Cali's last bastions of right wing nuttery (and home of the John Birch Society, with Fred Koch, founder of Koch Industries, one of the founding members). But even in ''the O.C.'', such a buffoon is universally and publicly admonished... instead of being presented as a serious candidate for Vice-President!

WTF has Fred Koch to do with this? BTW, he's been dead for almost 50 years. Sheer lunacy. As far as I know, there is no indication as to whether this judge is D or R.
Where do you get these loony lefty kalidoscope glasses where everything becomes a right wing conspiracy?
