I think the gun advocates using this forum today must be on the pop or something.
Yeah, and when I did it was an accident on my behalf and I apologized... What of it?

Default Call a spade a spade..Had Nancy Lanza survived I wish she'd get the death penalty..

Owning firerams is more than a right..IT is A PRIVILEGE. This lady had a mentally disturbed, dirtbag pos son at home. Owning firearms is a great responsibility. Her irresponsibility led to the death of 20 children and 7 adults. As a strong supporter of conservationism and the 2nd Amendment, and realizing it's place in the formation of this nation, we cannot afford to have this go away. If one of your family members steals a firearm from you and uses it to maim others, you are subject to the same prosecutions and sentences that they are. No ifs ands or buts. It's time for people to take responsibility for their own. There are measures this woman could have taken to make sure that her little brat didnt get his hands on her firearms..it's not hard to do. She failed miserably. Every firearm owner in this land must set the highest standards for themselves, and if not they must suffer the consequences. We have this wonderful privilege, let's not give the knee jerkers any excuse to take away what the framers gave to us.

Being so far away..it does not give me relief. Can't help but thinking of the cold corpses of these little children. How still they they lay..their beauty vanished..their spirits still. I feel so sorry for the people who lift their bodies and place them in line..who view their pale faces and see the wounds. The image of his slaughter eats at me...When I sit down these thoughts go through me..just can't shake it. The thought of the parents who lay in their bed..who pace in relentless pain.

The parents who were sleepless...the ones that woke this morning hoping it was just a dream. For some reason this news from a distant place feels as if it took place as close as my skin. I a stranger with no familiar connection sense that I have lost my own child. When I think of that being a possibility in my life...all I can say is - I can bare just about anything...but I could not bare this. There is nothing more tragic than the loss of something and someone that you love more than life itself.

There has always been a steak of empathy in me. I never realized how strong this trait was till now. I send my deepest love to my brothers and sisters to the south...and I send all of my love to the lost children and those that lost their lives protecting them. This really hurts and I hope we understand in full what happened. We failed in our love- But it is not to late...to change our course and head to where we must be....God speed .....thanks for listening.

Well you're a knee jerker yourself for even posting this.

One possible scenario:
Son stole keys to gun safe from mom.
Mom tried to stop him.
Son shot mom.

Blows your entire "judgment" to smithereens, doesn't it ?

No indications yet that son was "mentally disturbed" as there are conflicing stories.

What? Are you kidding? That's not how things work in America. We are individuals, responsible for our own actions.

Your speculation blows my judgement to smithereens? It is not hard to hide objects from somebody the size of keys. Also, she could have gotten one of the safes that reads your fingerprint only to open knowing that she had a dirtbag son at home. Stop making excuses for her. Look at the little animal she raised, she failed as a parent and she failed as a responsible gun owner. Period.

Hate to bust your bubble but both Republican's and Democrats are big gun advocates.

You see .. that little know paper "to you" called our constitution was written by both parties.

You seem to turn a blind eye to the fact that Obama has been systematically taking away our rights as American's and pushing our country towards a Marxist socialist state where the people have no rights and the cronies politicians rule with an iron fist.

You think Bush was taking away and violating our rights ... it was nothing compared to what Obama did in just 4 short years.

Agreed, a Republican not only using this tragedy to further his agenda but calling all those grieving parents godless...sickening....

Why did you quote me?

By that logic everyone from the President on down in our Government should get the Death Penalty for High Treason which we all know carries the Death Penalty.
