The assumption is that America is "civilized".
When I can't even go to the mall without worrying about being gunned down, I don't live in a civilized place.
Months of discussion on guns, laws, rights, and everything else after each of these mass shootings, and now the liberals are coming up with "There has not even been a serious national debate on gun related issues, after Aurora, after Columbine...".
I'm starting to learn the language of these strange people.
"There has not been a serious national debate" actually means "We keep losing the debate every time, but we can't understand why we're wrong."
That becomes clearer with every one of these shootings. They simply keep repeating the same tired, long-debunked "arguments".... while completely forgetting how thoroughly they've been refuted every time.
Please spare me, there has been more focus Susan Rices statement relative to the killing in Benghazi than there has been on all the murders that I mentioned combined. Politicians in the pocket of the NRA are more interested in being reelected than offering solutions.
Your right let's just keep on the same path with no solutions, working out really welll.

I guess so. I laughed when my kids tried to take an extra dessert at the dinner table tonight as well. Life moves on. I don't see any real sympathy on your side; just vitriol and politicizing a tragedy.
