What say you?
Let's tax food stamps, section 8 housing, medicaid benefits and the ObamaPhone.. We tax Seniors Social Security so all this should be income and taxed.. Heck, maybe it already is since unemployment is considered income.. Never had to suck the life blood from my neighbor so don't know..

It's not an idea. It's another law the govt doesn't enforce.

I just wonder how many are in violation of the SS sign up. That is a felony last i knew. We may not have the Draft anymore but we still have the selective service and that law, which last I knew was enforced.

And yeah if they want to TAX let it be to buy out of the militia, at the rate of the gun training, ammo clothing etc etc plus some TAX! What would be a good rate for that tax?

No; in fact they already pay a tax under sporting gods for hunting and fishing paid before the product even reaches market. How do you think the national parks are support besides hunting and fishing licenses. How you going to collect from the thugs who use them everyday to shoot people in America. You are targeting the wrong people as always.

Hell no.

Reduction of the national debt? ROFLMAO, good one. You really think this program would cost less to run than they would collect? It would be another national debacle that would cost the taxpayers and increase the debt. You might create a few more government parasite jobs though.

Why not just have a 100% tax and issue people a check for what you think they deserve? That's what you really want isn't it?

I'm sure the gangbangers and the demographic that makes up the gun violence stats will be the first in line to pay taxes on their guns.
Just leave the responsible firearm owners alone. We are not the problem.

Make a list. Check it twice. See who is naughty or nice. ATF is coming to town.

Then confiscate all the guns from the idiots that were fool enough to register them.

OP - Not just NO! But HELL NO!

What say you?
Does government spend our tax dollars wisely as it is now? No. And you think the answer is to toss more of our money at them so every bureaucrat can take free taxpayer funded line dancing lessons?

GAO Details Billions in Federal Waste

When and if Obama ever decides to control and cut wasteful federal spending, then you can come back and plea your case. Or you can just cut a personal check to the US Treasury on your own, but leave us out of it.
