Maybe humans will get back to some critical thought.

People die everyday....by homicide.

Why do gun killings and mass killings seem to garner the headlines as of recently??

Freedom of Press seems to be the most harmful amendment today...

Ha. Oh yeah. Ban the free press so we can be just like China or Iran. Brilliant idea.

You do realize banning freedom of the press would also mean banning The Blaze, The Drudge Report, and Fox News, right?

Freedom of the press isn't the problem. You need to thank your lucky stars every day that freedom of the press exists.

This is a business issue, pure and simple. Supply and demand. "Sensationalistic media" live on ads or clicks.

More viewers = more $$$

If people didn't want to watch the news, they wouldn't show it.

If you want to ban something, ban the least common denominator.

Having a free press means we're "China's b*tch"?

I couldn't agree more, they need to get the hell out of Conneticut in particular(RIGHT NOW) and leave those poor families alone and let them grieve.

it deserves press. we need to know how exactly somebody with a rifle was able to walk into a school with it. then we need to know why campus police did not kill him after the 1st shot.

No, it doesn't mean we are... we're China's b*tch and losing freedom of the press is the last thing you need to worry about when it comes to "becoming China"
