Teaching kids how to shoot makes them less likely to go off and shoot others how, exactly?? The issue has nothing to do with knowing how to handle, clean, respect guns. It's the fact that guns are so ubiquitous.
The whole obvious point is that certain kinds of people should not ever be able to get near a gun.
